Cloud Shadows from a Low Sun

Not every cloud has a silver lining, but this was a nice example just before sunset.

A few minutes later the cumulus shadow could be seen outlined on cirrus on the other side of the sky.

Here the low sun casts shadows on the underside of a bank of cloud. From its structure it looks like this may have started as a jet contrail.

A combination of low sun and cartoon character clouds create an unusual scene.
