Full Moon Rising in Earth Shadow

A full moon rising into the earth shadow beneath the pink Belt of Venus. The timelapse covers 12 minutes from the time the sun was on the horizon to 2.2 degrees below.

During this time the moon rises by almost two degrees and the flattening by atmospheric refraction reduces appreciably.

At the same time the earth shadow rises up at a much quicker rate than the sun is sinking in the west.
