Crescent Moon Setting in Twilight

This timelapse covers 30 minutes and is peeded up about 50 times. The exposure was altered several times to cope with the huge change in brightness during this time.

Early in the sequence a glance at the almost vertical line of the cusps might make you think the moon would set to the right and out of the frame.

Because our rotation axis is tilted compared to the line between sun and moon the moon actually descends at a much steeper angle.
