Noctilucent Clouds in Morning Twilight


The clouds were bright enough to show up in the rapidly brightening twilight, sun 9.7 degrees below the horizon.


Even as it grew light enough to see features in the valley the noctilucent cloud still showed through.

Taken just 6 minutes apart these images show the rapidly changing features in the cloud. The sun was 8.8 degrees below the horizon for the last one and the clouds remained visible for several minutes after that
