Circumzenithal Arc and Weak Halo Display

This circumzenithal arc was quite prominent as well as a section of upper tangent arc at the bottom of the image.

Arcing gently down on both sides from the circumzenithal is a faint supralateral arc.

This composite of three images shows the circumzenithal plus the upper tangent and sundogs.

The supralateral had faded by this stage and the 22 degree halo was barely visible.

The pure colours of the circumzenithal showed up nicely against the blue sky.

The much greater glare nearer the sun washed out the sundogs and tangent arc.
