There was no parhelic circle visible but this small patch of cirrus brightened noticeably as it reached the position of the left 120 degree parhelion.
It was only visible for a minute or so before the cirrus drifted out of range.
Although there is plenty of cirrus in the background the effect seemed to be limited to this small patch.

A few minutes later this sundog was visible, confirming that at least some of the cirrus contained plate crystals.
Although the white tail shows the beginning of a parhelic circle it didn't extend very far.
