Iridescence


Iridescence is an interference effect and is closely related to the cloud corona. Near the sun there is no real distinction between them other than the iridescence isn't in concentric rings. It can be seen quite far from the sun though it is usually less striking further out.


Please be careful !   Always shield the sun and use proper eye protection against the remaining glare.
