I had hoped to catch the occultation of Venus by the moon just before sunset. Unfortunately the disappearance was hidden by cloud so I had to make do with this colourful sunset instead. |

There was a brief gap in the clouds shortly after Venus reappeared from the bright side of the moon, Jupiter was also visible to the upper right. |
