Circumzenithal Arc - Timelapse


The best of this circumzenithal arc didn't last long so I missed much of it while setting up the equipment. It fades significantly as the cloud changes but is still faintly visible at the end. (Speeded up about 50 times)





The sun shines through a bush in this image, safely showing the position of the sun relative to the arc.

About two hand spans above the sun it is high enough that most people don't notice it.

That is a pity because it a colourful halo, even in this modest example
