Being in a car has the advantage that you rapidly sample different areas of fog. On leaving an area of fairly thick fog a full fogbow became visible as the sun reached the lower layers. |

Unfortunately you can't always find somewhere stop when the best ones are visible. |
By the time we reached the minor roads the fog had all but disappeared. |
