Fogbow by Day and Night

Daytime fogbow

This daytime fogbow was quite easy to see but only lasted a few minutes as the fog dissipated in the bright sunlight.

Moonlight fogbow

This moonlight fogbow was easily visible to the eye and lasted about half an hour. The brightest star at the top of the fogbow is Enif in the constellation Pegasus.

The exposure time of about one minute shows stars below the naked eye limit under those conditions, the colour balance has also shifted noticeably.
