Lone Sundogs

This cat has no interest in dogs of any kind...

The Town Hall clock in Newbury provided a convenient shield for the sun.

Thin cirrus in between the other patches briefly provided several colourful sundogs.

A fairly bright sundog showed briefly in these wisps of cirrus. Fragments of the 22 degree halo are faintly visible in the lower wisps.

This late afternoon winter sundog was vertically elongated showing that the tilts in the ice crystals were greater than usual.
