Conditions were hardly ideal for sundogs with this fairly thick blanket of cirrus to the west. |

Thinner sections of the cirrus produced quite a strong sundog. |

A week later and similar conditions produced another glimpse of sundog. |

Slightly later in the evening, and with the sunset point a little further north, the sundog is several degrees to the right of the previous week. |
