Murky Evening Sundogs

Conditions were hardly ideal for sundogs with this fairly thick blanket of cirrus to the west.

Thinner sections of the cirrus produced quite a strong sundog.

A week later and similar conditions produced another glimpse of sundog.

Slightly later in the evening, and with the sunset point a little further north, the sundog is several degrees to the right of the previous week.
