Although these people seem to be walking between the primary and secondary bows from their viewpoint the bows were still out in the field beyond. Each of them saw their own rainbow, which of course was formed by different rain drops to the rainbow I saw. |

Reflected rainbows are also rather subtle. Here the reflected bow is not a simple reflection of the one I could see in the sky. It is the reflection of the bow that would have been seen by someone whose eye was the same distance below the water level as the camera was above. |
